And he said that one should not give alms until necessary expenses have been met first because it is against Islamic teachings as well as against common sense. He wrote that you should not boast to others about your wealth or charity. He also has written how you can encourage others to do good deeds, because encouraging others to do good is a type of helping mankind, and this is something that makes the person who encouraged the other people proud of himself.
